Kayaking

We provide transportation for kayaks
and canoes to the Back Bay area. We
will transport up to 4 kayaks or
canoes and 4 passengers to some of
the most remote areas of Espiritu
Santo Bay. Most of these areas are
accessible only by kayaks and
canoes. Paddle Trail maps are
available and the trails are marked by
sign posts throughout the marsh. We
can drop you off at the Paddle Trails
and pick you up at a pre-scheduled
time. This area is about 5 miles from
Port O'Connor and covers about 15
square miles of shallow flats and
marsh.

We also offer transportation to the
Back Lakes of Matagorda Island,
some of the most pristine shallow flats
and marshes available on the Gulf of
Mexico. Fly fishing and conventional
artificial and natural bait fishing is
excellent in areas such as 5th Lake,
Contee Lake and Power Lake. This
area is about 20 miles from Port
O'Connor and covers more than 25
square miles of shallow water
marshes and flats.

We now have kayak rentals available.
We have 11' 6" kayaks suitable for
fishing the flats and back lakes.
Rentals for Half-Day trips start at $40
and Full-Day rentals start at $60. We
provide paddles and life vests.
